Welcome to HTO! We are excited to have you join our vibrant community of professionals. To ensure a positive and enriching networking experience for all members, we have established the following networking etiquette and membership agreement. By becoming a member, you agree to abide by these guidelines

1. Respect and Inclusivity:

   – Treat all members with respect, regardless of their background, position, or industry.

   – Maintain an inclusive and open-minded attitude towards diverse perspectives.

 

2. Professionalism:

   – Present yourself professionally during networking events and interactions.

   – Avoid engaging in behavior that could be considered offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate.

 

3. Active Engagement:

   – Actively participate in networking events and discussions to maximize the value of your membership.

   – Contribute your insights and knowledge to enrich the group’s discussions.

 

4. Networking Purity:

   – Refrain from using networking events solely for direct sales or promotions.

   – Instead, focus on building genuine relationships and fostering collaborative opportunities.

 

5. Confidentiality:

   – Respect the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared by fellow members.

   – Do not disclose confidential information without proper authorization.

 

6. Consent and Contact:

   – Respect each member’s privacy and seek permission before adding them to any contact lists.

   – Avoid excessive and unsolicited communications.

 

7. Accountability:

   – Take responsibility for your commitments and follow through on any promises made during networking interactions.

   – Be reliable and respectful of other members’ time.

 

8. Feedback and Improvement:

   – Provide constructive feedback to the organizers to help improve the quality of our networking events.

   – Share your ideas for enhancing the member experience.

 

9. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

   – Ensure that your actions within the networking group comply with relevant laws and regulations.

   – Refrain from engaging in any illegal or unethical activities.

 

10. Upholding the Group’s Reputation:

   – Represent HTO positively in your interactions with others both inside and outside the group.

   – Your behavior reflects on the group’s reputation, so maintain a high standard of conduct.

Failure to adhere to this networking etiquette and membership agreement may result in corrective actions, including a warning or potential termination of your membership. HTO reserves the right to cancel any membership, for any reason, at any time. We believe that by working together to create a respectful and collaborative environment, we can all benefit from meaningful connections and professional growth.
